A client side requirement was defined to oversee the construction process in more detail than usual, because of the prior negative experiences with tunnel construction in Hungary. There was no monitoring system available that met their requirements, such as sensor agnostic, multi-user and IT maintenance free. The final decision was made when monitoring personnel cost was compared to the license fee of the portal structure is carried out by prisms installed into the shot concrete slope and the surrounding embankment which are measured by a robotic total station in real From there data is transmitted to the cloud, and into SURVIOT using FTP protocol. Data connection for the PODs is available through mobile 2G-3G-4G network. Data transmission is done through our own protocol. The heart of the unit is a multi-constellation GNSS receiver equipped with a calibrated GNSS antenna.
