We, the SURVIOT team, are proud to be both participants and shapers of the structural health monitoring market as one of the dynamically growing players of the Hungarian startup scene. Founded in 2022, our company’s mission is to simplify and make accessible the monitoring of the condition of buildings and other structures.
Right from the start, we have demonstrated SURVIOT’s effectiveness: our automated, end-to-end solution, developed during the M85 tunnel construction project in Sopron, was capable of precisely tracking deformation, convergence, surface and building movements, and hydrogeological parameters.
SURVIOT is more than just technology; it represents a new paradigm in civil engineering projects. We aim to facilitate the work of operators and contractors using our automated solutions. We continually enhance our platform by integrating new sensors and features, ensuring we always deliver the latest and most precise information.

KEY STEPS OF A MONITORING PROJECT

1. Requirement assessment
At the start of every project, we thoroughly assess the client’s needs and expectations. At this stage, we define the purpose of the monitoring, the critical areas, and the key parameters.
2. System design and sensor selection
Based on the survey, we design the monitoring system, including the type and placement of sensors that meet the demands of the project.
3. Installation and setup
Once the sensors are installed, the system is tested and fine-tuned to ensure accurate and reliable operation.
4. Data collection and transmission
The system continuously collects data from the sensors and transmits them in real time to the cloud data management system.
5. Data processing and evaluation
In the SURVIOT platform, the data processing and evaluation step is crucial. This is the stage where raw data is transformed into actionable information. Evaluation of the processed data allows the identification of potential problems and trends that are key to the reliable operation of the structure.
6. Visualisation and analysis
After processing and evaluating the data, it is visualised to make it easier for users to interpret. Visualisation helps decision makers to quickly and efficiently understand the status of the system and take the necessary actions. The analysis further deepens our understanding of the data, allowing us to uncover long-term trends and patterns that help us develop sustainable and predictive maintenance plans.
7. Reporting and notification
The client receives regular reports, as well as immediate notifications of events of importance detected by the system.
